Tony (Brandt), leaves his quiet Timaru beat to working undercover in Wellington for the drug squad. When Eddie (Browning), the major dealer, learns that Tony is a cop, he abducts, rapes and beats up Sandra (Ludlam) - Tony's current girlfriend. Tony finds Eddie on a boat and slips LSD into his hamburger and a disoriented Eddie falls overboard and drowns. After Tony learns "Mr. Big" is a well connected Lawyer, he requests release from undercover work and an extended holiday, which he receives. Based upon a real NZ cop, it was produced as a pilot for a TV series that was never developed. Worth a view.
