A 1930's naive teenager, Cedric, conspires with two misfits to photograph and blackmail adulterous couples. When the scam goes wrong, they end up with blood on their hands. Tortured by lust, roped into blackmail and possibly an accessory to murder, Cedric is in a predicament. This is an adapted crime comedy, from the novel of the same name by Ronald Hugh Morrieson. There is much to like about this film; the production values, the cinematography and especially the music of Plan 9 and Tim Finn, but it would have been helpful if an English subtitle option was available.
