Michael's in a race against time after learning he has only months to live. Stealing his own treatment money, he leaves his loved ones behind and heads to London. Intent on going out in a blur of sex, drugs and mayhem, everything changes when he falls for a mysterious French girl named Sylvie. I found Hema-Taylor character much more likeable than Whelan's, which tended to get in the way of fully enjoying the story. Perhaps concluding with a more homoerotic relationship might have resulted in a better ending.
